Antique 19th century Persian Serapi rug with a spacious freely drawn geometric tribal design. This stunning large Serapi dates to around 1880 and features a soft shimmering color palette and very lustrous handspun mountain wool. The main color is a pale coral-peach with denim blue, pale lemon yellow, aquamarine, pale charcoal-blue, walnut, pale pink, fawn, khaki, ivory, and more.

Materials: Hand knotted handspun mountain wool pile on a cotton foundation. Natural dyes.
Condition: Excellent condition overall with medium to low pile over most of the rug. There are a few minor restorations as you would expect on a 140 year old rug. Ready to enjoy.
