Vintage Tabriz rug in an exquisitely drawn Shah Abbas blossom palmette design. This masterpiece from the workshop of Javan Amirkhiz is the definition of poise and harmony in color and artwork. The colors are crisp and clear, but also soft and subtle, in perfect balance. We have the cerise, buff, and teal border, with botanical motifs on the cream ground in blue gray, dusty lilac, ground cumin, wine red, taupe, mallard green, colonial blue, navy blue, lime green, and many others. We don't come across many 70 year old rugs with such pedigree and classical stature, in such wonderful condition.
