Antique Baluch tribal rug with a twinkling mosaic lattice of interconnected octagons arranged on diagonal. The rich lustrous wool is dyed in subtly glowing tones of rhubarb red, fresh denim blue, dusty purple, charcoal, and cream. Having the original striped end skirts still intact is a rare pleasure.

Materials: Hand knotted handspun wool pile on a wool foundation, natural dyes.
Condition: Excellent condition overall with even lustrous low pile. Typical of Baluch rugs, the brown has become etched over time creating a beautiful embossed effect. Ready to enjoy and suitable for normal everyday use. Professionally hand washed.
