Antique Persian Tabriz rug with a stunning all-over floral pattern in the Shah Abbas style. It is a masterful weaving in every respect. Pure gem like candy colors on a variegated (abrashed) French blue ground. The colors and glorious artwork are a celebration of life and the reverence of natural beauty. The center field of blossoms on blue water is awe inspiring, but no more than the exquisitely articulated border replete with plump clusters of grapes.
