Vintage Persian Sarouk rug with a festive floral display and difficult to find size. Colors include aqua, denim blue, butter yellow, navy blue, and gold, on a cherry red ground.

Age: 1940
Origin: Sarouk, Markazi Province Western Iran.
Materials: Hand knotted handspun wool pile on a cotton foundation.
Condition: Good condition overall with soft lustrous pile over most of the rug. There are some small signs of use and a few tiny old moth bites. Ready to enjoy and suitable for normal everyday use. Professionally hand washed.
