Antique Persian Bakshaish runner rug with a very unusual and attractive tribal design in lustrous colors from the best natural dyes. It is a story of pattern and color combined to create a visual rhythm like ripples on water. The ground is a clear jewel toned madder red with the three diamond medallions in royal blue. It is the accent colors that stand out in rare tones of jade green, pale blue topaz, pale yellow, and red garnet. It’s uniquely decorative and collectable.

Materials: Hand knotted handspun wool pile on a wool foundation. Natural dyes.

Condition: Good condition overall with low glossy pile. A little scattered light wear and minor losses at one end. Ready to enjoy and suitable for normal everyday use. Professionally hand washed.
