Antique Persian Heriz Serapi rug. A very old Serapi of exceptional beauty and rare character in a nice squarish size. Superb old colors from organic dyes, glossy handspun mountain wool, and a finely knotted weave.

Origin: Northwest Persia
Materials: Hand knotted handspun mountain wool pile on a cotton foundation. Natural dyes.
Condition: Worn, but good condition overall as shown. There are no holes or other problems. It has a very small amount of old restoration as expected on a 140 year old rug. It is ready to be enjoyed immediately.
