Semi antique Persian Heriz rug with a fantastical botanical design with large stylized blossoms and serrated leaves interconnected from the central flower by a freely flowing network of branches. The indulgent artwork is rendered in luminous, but refined, tones of blue tinged black, pale gold, mineral green, lemon yellow, undyed natural wool, pale blue, jade green, pastel pink, cranberry, and pecan. Somehow the imaginative weavers of this Heriz have unified the unbridled and the sophisticated.
