Antique village rug from Barjid, East Azerbaijan Province in NW Iran. It is a gleaming gem of crisp colors and informal tribal design influence. All the colors are top notch natural dyes, with a ruby red ground, tan border, and accents of pale seafoam green, teal green, sky blue, denim blue, peach, and cream. As lovely and delightful as it is rare.

Materials: Hand knotted hand spun wool pile on wool/cotton foundation. Natural dyes.
