Antique Persian Saveh Zarand runner rug with superb design based on whole and halved “Crivelli Star” medallions. The range of colors is exquisite and includes green apple, dusty plum, daffodil yellow, grass green, pale salmon, azure, light coral red, orange peel, and cream, all on a fabulous denim blue ground. This rare runner will make any space it occupies.

Origin: Saveh/Zarand plain, Markazi Province Iran
Materials: Hand knotted handspun wool pile on a wool foundation. Natural dyes except the orange.
Condition: Good condition overall with some signs of use and a few scattered small restorations. Ready to enjoy and suitable for normal everyday use.
