Antique Persian Heriz rug in the classic medallion format depicting large scale stylized botanicals in a beautiful range of clear naturally dyed colors. A pure madder red ground is surrounded by light French blue corners and a navy blue border. The botanical motifs are rendered in jade green, straw yellow, pink rose, watermelon, walnut, and cream.

Materials: Hand knotted handspun wool pile on a cotton foundation. Natural dyes.
Condition: Good condition overall with mostly low pile and also some areas showing wear. There are a few localized areas of slight discoloration. Ready to enjoy and suitable for normal everyday use. Professionally hand washed.
