Antique Persian Heriz rug with fairly rare and quite beautiful design. Outstanding graphics, soft glossy wool, and glowing colors from organic dyes.
Size: 8'2” x 10’10”
Age: 1920-1930
Origin: Northwest Persia
Materials: Hand knotted handspun wool pile on cotton foundation. Natural dyes.
Condition: Excellent condition overall with nice pile over most of the rug. There are some localized areas of slight wear. Original sides and ends. Unwashed in the photos, it will arrive washed and ready to enjoy.
