Antique Persian Malayer gallery format rug with a stunning Art Nouveau design in perfectly patinated colors from natural dyes. Exotic and expressive botanical motifs present a sensuous “dreamy garden” impression on navy blue. The sinuous leaves and stylized blossoms are drawn in light sky blue, coral, raisin, lemon yellow, sea green, buff, antique red, teal, burnished orange, and cream. A rare find in the limited catalog of Art Nouveau rugs.
