Antique Persian Heriz rug with a sparkling stained glass-like mosaic of botanical elements drawn in clear glowing vegetable dyes. The weaver has incorporated so much verve into this small squarish space. Colors include the flame red ground with French blue corners, a navy blue border, and pops of celadon green, light gold, vermilion, black coffee, and cream.

Condition: Good condition overall with low pile over most of the rug. There are scattered areas of stronger wear. Non-original fringe has been added later at one end. We will remove upon request.
