Antique Southwest Persian Afshar Sirjan rug with a rare design featuring two large opposed vases sharing a geometric floral display flanked by large birds of prey and tulips in each corner. The elegant border is indicative of its 120 year old age. The brilliant richly saturated colors are all from natural dyes. This fine rug shows its age, but it is quite a showstopper.

Origin: Afshar Sirjan, SW Persia
Materials: Hand knotted handspun wool pile on a wool foundation.
Condition: Good, but worn condition overall. Ready to enjoy and suitable for normal everyday use. Professionally hand washed.
