Fine antique Farahan rug with delicate botanicals, a striking petalform medallion, and rare border motif, all rendered in sophisticated jewel and pastel tones. These old Farahans are very finely knotted with a dense weave and velvet-like wool. Colors are a luminous blackish blue that is only found in Farahan rugs, cerise, Persian blue, seafoam, jade green, pale powder blue, straw yellow, pink, velvet red, nutmeg, and the cream ground. An original work of art for those who want the best.
