Antique Turkmen Yomut tribal rug with a lovely all over design in the Kepche gul motif. Finely hand knotted with a lustrous velvety texture and the luminous earth tones these old Turkmen weavings are cherished for. The background is rich coffee bean brown with accent colors in navy blue, cerulean blue, coral tinged red, teal, apricot, and cream.

Origin: Northeastern Iran or Western Turkmenistan
Materials: Hand knotted hand spun wool pile on a wool foundation. Natural dyes.
Condition: Good condition overall with lustrous velvety pile. A couple of tiny old repairs. Ready to enjoy and suitable for normal everyday use.
