Worn Persian Kurdish tribal rug with a simple, but dynamic lattice pattern of stylized shrubs. The transitioning bands of nuanced color give a subtle shimmer to the rug.
The background is black-brown, with accent colors in soft tones of faded coral pink, aqua, straw, purple, cerulean blue, navy, mauve, and more.
Materials: hand knotted handspun wool pile on a wool foundation.

Condition: Worn, but solid condition. One end has been expertly rewoven. Like most authentic nomadic rugs, it is not a perfect rectangle.
