Stunning blue Persian runner woven by Kurdish weavers in the first third of the 20th century. The stylized floral vine lattice, know as the Mina Khani pattern, gives the impression of shimmering blossoms floating on blue water. This Kurdish tribal rug boasts rich glossy wool, a superb weave, and a wide array of luscious colors.

Background color: variegated indigo and navy blue. Design accent colors: apple green, turquoise, vermilion red, terracotta, coral, sky blue, bright red, dusty rose, cream, maroon, dark brown, teal, tan, and more.

Materials: hand knotted wool pile on a wool foundation.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition overall with soft glossy pile. Like most tribal and nomadic rugs, it is not a perfect rectangle. Minor red dye bleed in the fringe.
